Hematology Oncology Specialists of Cape Cod Joins Regional Cancer Care Associates

Teaneck, NJ, September 1, 2024Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA), one of the nation’s largest networks of oncology specialists, today announced that Hematology Oncology Specialists of Cape Cod (HOSCC) and its three medical oncologists/hematologists will join RCCA effective September 1, 2024.

With offices at 26 Edgerton Drive, Suite A, in North Falmouth, MA, Hematology Oncology Specialists of Cape Cod offers area residents treatment for solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and non-cancerous blood conditions, such as anemia and clotting disorders. In addition to Dr. Aviles, the practice’s medical staff includes board-certified medical oncologists/hematologists Hannah Yamin, DO, and Jaffar Hilli, MD.

Mr. Jordan, RCCA’s president and chief executive officer, noted that Hematology Oncology Specialists of Cape Cod is the second oncology practice to join Regional Cancer Care Associates in as many months, with New Jersey Cancer Care and its three offices and seven physicians having affiliated with RCCA in July 2024.

Founded in 2006 by Victor Aviles, MD, and his wife, Ann M. DeWeer-Aviles, MD, a pediatrician, HOSCC provides care for all types of cancers and hematologic disorders.  The practice’s three medical oncologists/hematologists are on staff at Falmouth Hospital, where Dr. Aviles is Chief of Hematology and Oncology. Additionally, they routinely collaborate with their colleagues at Massachusetts General Hospital, where Dr. Aviles is a Consultant in Medicine, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and other centers.

Located at 26 Edgerton Drive, Suite A, in North Falmouth, MA, the practice has an onsite laboratory for patient convenience and to facilitate timely clinical assessment and decision-making. The practice is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for major holidays. One of the practice’s physicians is always on call for medical emergencies on weekends, holidays, and after-hours.
