Regional Cancer Care Associates Joins OncLive’s Strategic Alliance Partnership

PLAINSBORO, N.J. –JANUARY 24, 2014 – OncLive® is pleased to announce that Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) has joined its Strategic Alliance Partnership program.

Through the Strategic Alliance Partnership program, the OncLive editorial and marketing teams will work with Regional Cancer Care Associates to raise awareness of RCCA’s innovative approach to cancer care and promote the research and scholarship of RCCA clinicians.

RCCA is one of the largest oncology physician networks in the United States and is dedicated to ensuring that cancer patients have access to the highest quality, cutting-edge treatments in a compassionate setting.

The physicians, nurses, and other oncology professionals at RCCA provide patient-focused, research-based cancer care in a collaborative, transparent environment that ensures both patients and treatment team members have the clinical information they need to personalize treatment options and target therapies appropriately.

RCCA clinicians participate in more than 250 clinical trials, giving patients access to novel therapies and treatment options. Clinicians at RCCA have also developed a variety of evidence-based clinical pathways to improve patient outcomes while reducing treatment complications and the use of unnecessary treatments and imaging.

Jack Lepping, president of the oncology division of Intellisphere, the publisher of OncLive, said “Regional Cancer Care Associates is one of the most respected physician networks in the oncology community, with a well-deserved reputation for providing patient-focused care while also helping to drive oncology research forward. We have excellent working relationships with several members of RCCA management and look forward to developing this partnership in the months ahead.”

This year, more than 20 cancer centers, nursing schools, and other groups have joined OncLive’s Strategic Alliance Partnership program.
