Deep S. Garg, MD

Dr. Deep S. Garg is a dynamic, triple-board certified physician who has recently joined Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) in Edison, NJ as the Medical Director of its new Cancer Rehabilitation & Wellness Division. Dr. Garg brings a wealth of extensive rehabilitation experience, having previously served as the Director of Traumatic Brain Injury and Polytrauma Rehabilitation in Loma Linda, California. She is sub-specialized as a brain injury and concussion specialist with expertise in interventional headache management and cognitive impairments due to various etiologies.

Her passion for cancer rehabilitation is fueled by advancements in oncological treatments, which are now allowing patients to live longer and more fulfilling lives. Dr. Garg is dedicated to maintaining and improving patients’ quality of life throughout and beyond their treatment for cancer and other diseases. This commitment led her to develop the Cancer Rehabilitation program at RCCA Edison, housed in a beautiful, newly developed space offering a range of treatment options, from interventional and non-interventional pain management services to IV nutritional therapies and customized strengthening and mobility programs. Dr. Garg employs multiple modalities to improve symptom management and enhance the patient care experience throughout cancer treatment, leading patients to benefit immensely from the on-site physician-to-physician collaboration.

In addition to cancer rehabilitation, Dr. Garg is thrilled to introduce a Wellness component to RCCA Edison, aimed at benefiting both the patient population and the greater Central NJ community. Leveraging her years of expertise with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and botulinum toxin (Botox, etc.) administration, along with numerous other innovative tools, she plans to address functional and aesthetic concerns such as hair loss, facial sculpting, and more. As a board-certified obesity medicine specialist, Dr. Garg is passionate about spreading the message that obesity is a significant preventable cause of cancer and other health issues. Certified as a fitness and Zumba instructor since 2009, Dr. Garg is a staunch advocate of movement for all. Her motto: “Be Well. Live Well.”
