In her role as Director of Operations, Maria is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic innovations to patient care delivery. She also collaborates with integration teams to ensure the successful onboarding of new practices and providers. Maria has more than 20 years in healthcare practice management with experience in private practice, large physician-owned/operated groups and corporate settings, as well as EMR conversions/implementations, inventory processes and project management. She served on organization expansion committees and represented in excess of 140 medical groups on a Value Analysis team. She has earned certifications from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) in human resources management and financial reporting and budgeting. Maria, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management, is a member of the COA Administrator’s Network (CAN), COA Patient Advocacy Network (CPAN), Oncology Medical Home (OMH) and Oncology Care Model Support Network (OCM). She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), New Jersey Medical Group Management Association (NJMGMA) and Community Oncology Alliance (COA). Maria previously served in the U.S. Air Force for 15 years.
