Maria Strama joined Regional Cancer Care Associates in 2014. As Laboratory Services Director she is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and directing the overall laboratory operations including quality assurance and control programs to achieve compliance with local, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
Prior to this, she was the RCCA Hackensack lab manager where for six years she provided general and technical supervision to the Homology and Phlebotomy departments. In 2020 she became the Director of Laboratory Services for both the Hematology and Next Generation Sequencing and Key Genomic Labs.
Maria has general clinical laboratory experience in both large hospital settings and private physician-owned labs. With 30 years of clinical laboratory experience, Maria has an extensive record of blending clinical lab experience with the business understanding to drive success.
Maria attended Montclair State University where she graduated with honors receiving her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health.
